Salamandra PLUS was created as a way to ensure the project can continue evolving sustainably, offering a set of additional tools for users who want extra features to help organize and manage their radio station's programming.
Free
Playout, which is the Salamandra you already know, will remain completely free, with no locks or restrictions on any existing features.
New free features will continue to be added as well.
PLUS
PLUS will provide additional tools, either integrated into Playout or as separate applications, activated through a license.
Using PLUS is entirely optional. All free features will continue to work normally without PLUS.
The goal of Salamandra PLUS is not to turn Salamandra into a complex system or one aimed at large radio networks.

PLUS was designed for users who already use Salamandra and want to speed up their daily workflow. Taking some time to try the free version first will help you make a more informed and confident purchase decision.
Salamandra PLUS is available as a perpetual license, including one year of software updates.
After the update period ends, the software will continue working normally.
Renewing updates is optional and provides access to new features and future releases. The renewal can be purchased for R$ 79.90.
You will retain permanent access to all versions released during your purchased update period.
Payments received after May 01, 2026 for amounts different from the official Salamandra PLUS price (R$ 149.99) will be considered voluntary contributions to the project and do not automatically grant a Salamandra PLUS license.
If the sender wishes to purchase Salamandra PLUS, the amount paid may be used as partial credit after contacting us.
Since the beginning of the project, many users have voluntarily supported Salamandra's development through financial donations.
As a token of our appreciation, everyone who donated by April 8, 2026 (before the PLUS announcement) will receive a lifetime Salamandra PLUS license.

SpotPlanner is a commercial break planning tool integrated with Salamandra.
It allows you to organize advertising campaigns and automatically generate the commercial breaks that will be played by Playout.
The license is issued manually by the developer and may take up to 72 business hours after payment has been confirmed.
Your license will be sent to the email address provided during purchase, so please make sure it is entered correctly and remember to check your spam folder.
Support is provided through our official channels—email and our Facebook group—for specific questions about using the software, in addition to the available documentation, including the user manual and YouTube tutorials.

How does the license work?
Each Salamandra PLUS license allows use on up to 2 computers.
The license is limited by the number of computers, not by the number of radios, studios, or stations.
If you need to use it on more computers, for example 3 computers, 2 licenses will be required, allowing use on up to 4 computers.
Updates
The license includes 1 year of updates. After this period, Salamandra will continue to work normally. Renewing the updates is optional.
Versions released during the purchased update period remain available for permanent use.
