Salamandra was created and grew as free software, with the goal of providing accessible and easy-to-use radio automation. And that will continue.
Salamandra PLUS was created as a way to allow the project to continue evolving sustainably, bringing a set of additional tools aimed at users who want extra features for organizing and operating radio programming.
Free
Playout, which is the Salamandra you already know, will remain free, with no locks or restrictions on any existing features.
New free features will also continue to be added.
PLUS
The PLUS version will provide additional tools, either inside Playout or in separate software, activated through licensing.
Using PLUS will be completely optional, and the free features will continue to work normally without PLUS.
The goal of Salamandra PLUS is not to turn Salamandra into a complex system or one aimed at large radio networks.

The first Salamandra PLUS tool will be SpotPlanner, a commercial break planner integrated with Salamandra.
It was created to reduce manual work and simplify the organization of the station’s commercial programming.
Register campaigns, define schedules, and organize programming breaks in a simple way.
Generate professional reports to verify ad airings.
Automatically generate commercial blocks, integrating directly with Salamandra.
Work with intros, closings, and jingles between commercials organized by time slot.
Salamandra PLUS will be available through a perpetual license, including 1 year of updates.
After the update period ends, the software will continue working normally.
Renewing updates is optional and guarantees access to new features and future versions. The renewal can be purchased for R$ 79.90.
You keep permanent access to the versions released during the purchased period.
Payments sent after 05/01/2026 in amounts different from the official Salamandra PLUS price (R$ 149.99) will be considered voluntary contributions to the project and do not automatically grant a Salamandra PLUS license.
If the sender wishes to purchase Salamandra PLUS, the amount may be used as partial credit upon contact.
Since the beginning of the project, some users voluntarily contributed financial donations to support Salamandra’s development.
As a way of expressing gratitude, those who donated before up to April 08, 2026 (before the PLUS announcement) will receive a lifetime Salamandra PLUS license.
